Maternity
Some of the most exciting calls or emails we get—especially from past wedding clients—are inquiries about Maternity sessions! Pregnancy is a beautiful milestone in your family story and we love capturing all the strength and beauty involved. We recommend scheduling a maternity session around the middle of the third trimester.
Lifestyle Newborn
The pure joy and love of welcoming your new baby into your life creates magical photographs. Our Lifestyle Newborn sessions involve an intimate session in your home where we document real-life moments…from mommy/daddy snuggles to surprise baby poops! We include a few posed newborn photographs, but the focus of these sessions is capturing the interaction and love between the new baby and the family.
Six Month
Your baby grows so quickly! At six months they are usually responding to emotions of others, smiling, playing with toys, sitting up, and so much more! Our Six Month sessions capture some of the earliest aspects of your baby’s personality. It’s fun to look back at these photos and see the inkling of character traits that you’ve grown to love.
One Year
Where did that little baby you brought home in your arms go?? As a parent, the first year in your child’s life can be one of the longest and shortest years. It’s the perfect time to press “pause” for a One Year session. Whether it be at your home, a favorite local park, or even the zoo, choose a location for the session that will help tell your child’s story. Feel free to end the session with a classic cake smash!
Baby’s First Year
Just like so many things in life, the first year of your child’s life can be a blur! Our Baby’s First Year Package documents all stages so you can enjoy these milestones in the future (while saving you some money). Purchase this package and get four sessions (Maternity, Lifestyle Newborn, Six Months, and One Year) for the price of three!
Day in the Life
Day-to-day life is often overlooked. Some of the best memories are the simple activities that are easily taken for granted. Our Day in the Life sessions help capture these moments. From making breakfast as a family, going to a favorite library, playtime at home, or even just walking the dogs around the neighborhood—professional photography helps you remember these moments of everyday magic!
Mini Sessions
Mini Sessions are filled with jumbo smiles! Our 20 minute Mini sessions are perfect for updating family albums, sending out holiday cards, or just having some cute pictures to post on Instagram! We offer them throughout the year so keep a lookout for signup announcements on our Instagram page (@marielandjoey)…they fill up fast!

Adoption Hearings
Families grow in different ways, but share a common core of love and unity. A beautiful example of this is when a child is adopted. We love to help document this important and emotional family milestone. We will work within the constraints of the courthouse to provide photographs that add to your family’s story. Afterwards, we end with a new-family photography session so you can share the news with everyone you love!
