“Happy wife, happy life.”

One of the very first weddings that Mariel and I shot, the groom was told this advice from a very wise man that recently celebrated his 70th wedding anniversary with his lovely wife.  Simple advice that I’ve tried to follow every day!  This can also be applied to our photography business—happy brides refer other happy brides!

Magen and Chris contacted us after seeing their friend’s engagement and wedding images.  Over a cup of joe at one of our favorite Fort Worth locales, Brewed, Mariel and I instantly felt the energy and loved shared in this couple.  At first I thought it might have been all the caffeine, but I was happy to discover the energy was the real deal!

St. Vincent’s Cathedral created an incredible backdrop for this Bedford wedding.  Magen and Chris decided not to see other before the ceremony, so instead of a ‘First Look’, they opted to exchange gifts before the ceremony with the help of a wooden door.  The simple touch and kind words from your love can help bring down the nerves, but I think in this case, it just made Chris wish he could hurry up and marry his bride!

Take a few minutes and look through the images from the first part of their wedding day.  It’s very apparent to me that Chris has been following the wise advice for a while—Magen is beaming with happiness!
